Milton Moore, present tense

Whenever we look through a family album of old photographs, most of us ask "Who is this?" not "Who was this?" Photographs are always present tense, and so are all the elements of life the enrich us. This blog considers music, film, books and other communications that call out to me always in the present tense.

ABOUT ME

Milton Moore
For more than 40 years, I had the privilege of working in the newsroom at two daily newspapers that were outstanding in those days before their business models collapsed: The Cape Cod Times and The Day of New London, Conn. And I was fortunate to be able to work both sides of the aisle, on the visual and the word side. I was director of photography and graphics editor at both papers. On the word side, my first job was as a reporter, then I became Sunday editor of the Cape Cod Times, and for a literally entertaining four years, I was arts editor at The Day. After leaving The Day, I completed my Masters in Journalism Education at Kent State University. Onward!
